In the evening, you will drive to your midrange lodge or quality tented camp near Karatu, Mto wa Mbu or the Tarangire area. Enjoy dinner and relax after your first day of wildlife viewing.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Return to Arusha or Moshi
After breakfast, you will drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive.
The crater is surrounded by steep walls and contains grasslands, woodland, wetlands and a lake. During the game drive, you may have the opportunity to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, antelopes and many bird species.
